How and when to order
SAVE THE DATES
These are a great idea for those couples who are getting married at peak times, for instance school holidays, Christmas or marrying abroad. You can send them 12 months in advance to ensure people know about the date even if you don't have all the finer details in place.
Ideally these should be sent 4 months before, and I always suggest that couples include an RSVP and an RSVP by date, as this encourages your guests to respond and saves you having the painstaking task of chasing people.
It's down to the individual, some like to send these out at the same time as the day invites. Others like to wait for responses from the day guests, so if they have any declines they can fill the gaps with their night guests.
WEDDING DAY STATIONERY
Table plan, place names, table names etc.... Once you have all your RSVP's back and have a definite numbers then you can start to order your reception items. Ideally this should be no less than 4 weeks before your big day.
